Family Law

Family law is one of the most practiced branches of the justice system; any issue relating to family matters, domestic relations, juvenile law and such fall under the family law umbrella. This type of law concerns a wide range of subjects, including: marriage, civil unions, adoptions, paternity, surrogacy, divorce, and child protective proceedings.

Issues can occur in family law when there is a conflict of child custody, marriage dissolution, and crimes involving children or juveniles. While these are the most common types of conflicts, this is not an exhaustive list of all the categories and violation possible under this branch of law.
